About Conrad
I’ve always been fond of teaching, having tutored many students throughout high school and university for over 3 years. I found that the majority of them were more than capable of very high grades, but were discouraged by teachers or textbooks that were difficult to understand. All they needed someone to explain the concept in a way that made sense to them – something I was more than happy to do!
Outside of tutoring, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering and have recently become involved with running the New Zealand Physics and Mathematics Competition. I’m also a keen saxophonist!

I teach all levels of Cambridge and NCEA Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
My lessons are very flexible and engaging; I work with my students to tailor lessons to best suit their personal abilities, learning styles, academic goals, and deadlines such as internal and external exams.
I’m particularly skilled at explaining challenging concepts – breaking them down easier portions, using various proofs and illustrations, relating them to other concepts more familiar to the student, and even providing helpful knowledge and context from outside of the syllabus.
Lessons are held online and cover all syllabus learning outcomes, along with helpful exam tips and techniques.
