About Almas
As a current senior in high school, I have experience in test-taking and overall math coursework.
Students will have an easier time conversing with a tutor closer to their age who has firsthand knowledge of the studies they have to do, whether with new tests or newly introduced topics.
I achieved 99th~ percentile scores in the math sections of the SAT, PSAT NMSQT, PSAT 10, and PSAT 8/9.
So I understand what you need to prep, most importantly, before you take these tests and can provide quick, concise responses for those with less time, or steady, detailed-oriented explanations to fully understand the material.
I have taken up to college-level Pre-Calculus and attained an A+ in all my classes. Currently enrolled to take AP Calculus, AP Statistics, and College Statistics. So I am actively studying those topics and can teach anything before those classes.
I am the president of my school's math club and compete in various competitions among high school students, and have experience teaching my peers in the club and class.
