About Sasha

Hi, I'm Sasha! I've recently completed my MSc in Human Cognitive Neuropsychology at the University of Edinburgh, having previously studied Biochemistry.

Throughout my education, I've had some brilliant teachers and some not-so-great ones, and I've seen first-hand how much difference a good teacher can make. I know how frustrating it can be when something just isn't clicking, and how rewarding it feels when someone finally explains it in a way that makes sense.

That's what I want to offer my students. I really enjoy helping people understand things they previously struggled with and seeing their confidence grow as a result.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on the exam specification and understanding exactly what examiners are looking for. I start by making sure students have a solid understanding of the topic, then move on to past-paper questions, mark schemes and exam technique to help them pick up as many marks as possible.

I have a BSc in Biochemistry, an MSc in Human Cognitive Neuropsychology and experience tutoring GCSE and A-level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Psychology.

I offer 60-minute lessons for GCSE and A-level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, tailored to each student's exam board and areas they find difficult.

Sasha is such a caring and supportive tutor, adapting your needs to her teaching style. She is always engaging and extremely patient. She is always willing to explain concepts in ways that make sense to me, and provides well-structured lessons. Sasha has helped me with not only my understanding of biology and chemistry but also my confidence towards the exams. Despite me hating chemistry Sasha had me excited to learn more through her clear yet entertaining explanations which she knew kept me interested in the lesson. Sasha has supported me so much and I am so grateful to have found such a fantastic tutor.
