About Nami
I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Medical Science. I previously worked as a Medical Device Design Engineer and am currently a third-year medical student, qualifying as a doctor in 2028. I passed the 11+ examinations in 2009, achieving full marks in all sections, and have been tutoring since 2017. I specialise in 11+, 13+, and scholarship entrance exams, as well as Mathematics up to GCSE Higher and Further Mathematics. My approach focuses on strong foundations, exam technique, and confidence. All of my 11+ students have passed, with many achieving top marks within their schools, and my GCSE Maths students have all achieved their target grades of 7, 8, or 9.

My lessons focus on helping students truly understand the subject, rather than memorising methods for short-term exam success. The aim is to build strong foundations, clear reasoning, and confidence — skills that remain valuable well beyond upcoming exams. Teaching extends beyond lesson time. Each student receives a personalised learning plan tailored to their goals, with targeted homework set after lessons. I provide full support with this work to ensure progress continues between sessions. Before committing, I recommend an initial session to ensure we are a good fit. When booking a 1-hour lesson (£40), I include an additional 30 minutes free, making the first session 90 minutes. This allows time to discuss goals and learning style, as well as complete a short diagnostic assessment (around 15 minutes) to identify strengths and gaps. Due to my academic and clinical commitments, I tutor a limited number of students, allowing me to give each student focused attention and consistent support.
