About Shelly
Hi, I’m Shelly Outwater!
“Playing a crucial role in creating a new path for every woman to learn the language of her body, harness her inner wisdom and, OWN her health from head to toe; and through that process, transform wellbeing globally for women and their families.”
I partner with women at the intersection of wellness and leadership. I believe that when our minds, bodies, and hearts are not aligned, we operate at a diminished capacity impacting our ability to innovate, connect with others, feel truly alive and successful in our lives. Neglected health and wellbeing lead to unhealthy outcomes (think: hypertension, cancer, obesity, and more) and a lack of engagement or enjoyment in women's lives and careers. This is often the cause of women opting-out of their careers, their health, their families.
In the journey of my 24-year career, I have held a wide range of leadership roles from manager to Vice President in the high-tech, education and biotech markets. I’ve learned what it takes to unlock my inner leader, lead from a wellness mindset and operate according to my unique zone of genius.
I have a Masters of Education and have a Health Coaching certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN). I am currently pursuing my 200-hour yoga teacher certification to expand my understanding of the mind-body connection. My work with clients couples my passion for wellness and education with my extensive corporate-level work that includes leadership coaching and training executives and their teams.
I offer the following services:
- Private and semi-private yoga classes in my home studio
- Monthly workshops on wellness and leadership topics available in my home studio or for groups at their location
- Private wellness and leadership coaching available online
- 14-day gut health cleanse available online
- Ionic foot baths at my home studio
I enjoy empowering women and supporting them in unlocking their best self.
I am currently forming private ($25/session) and semi-private ($10/session; 4 ppl max) yoga class offerings in my home studio.
In addition, I will be running a full day Empowered Women's Workshop on February 1st at my home studio. Cost is $125/person when enrolled by 1/22 or $175/person when you enroll from 1/23 - 1/31. Only 3 openings remain for this course.

I like to get to know my client's goals and expectations. I find that a quick 15-20 minute call to get related to each other is exceptionally helpful and enables me to customize content and class delivery based on specific needs. I also require the signing of a waiver and completion of a basic, confidential health form before starting any yoga classes. For coaching programs, an agreement is signed between me and the client.

Thank you, Shelly, for helping my daughter so patiently with yoga and other techniques for stress. She really enjoyed working with you and I can see her having calming moments when she practices her yoga.
Shelly provided a session of eight yoga classes to our residential program for teen parents. Most of the participants had not done yoga before. Shelly did an excellent job introducing yoga exercises to the newcomers while keeping those who had yoga experience engaged. She taught our teen mothers to use yoga as a healthy way of coping with the stresses of being teen parents without the support of family or their children's fathers. She has also done mom and tot classes for our young mothers and toddlers. Shelly has a calm, soothing manner and is able to engage even the shyest and most rambunctious of little ones. Shelly's mom and tot yoga gives our young mothers a special way to bond with their children and is lots of fun for all.
