About Kate
Kate has one of the highest degrees in yoga certification as a nationally recognized register yoga teacher in Oregon. Overall, she specializes in making yoga inclusive + accessible to all bodies + challenges people to broaden their perspective of what a yoga practice ought to look like. Her scope of expertise is wide ranged from -working to healing trauma + offering trauma- informed movement + psychosocial education - to offering adaptive yoga for special conditions like (osteoporosis, arthritis + age related conditions, to injury recovery, autoimmune disorders like fibromyalgia, to mental health disorders of anxiety, PTSD, and depression) Kate is also a continuing education provider + leads various advance studies in local yoga teacher trainings for yoga teachers, healers, and therapists. She owns + operates her own private yoga practice in Keizer, where she offers comprehensive 1:1 private yoga sessions designed to met individuals needs towards greater health, healing + vitality.
I was honored with the opportunity to continue my training beyond the basic 200hr certification. My passion lies in making yoga comfortable and accessible to every person and my 500hr training brought my own teaching and practice to a whole new level.
I specialize in teaching Gentle-styled yoga that is all-bodies inclusive with compassion and care. Each of us are uniquely designed humans, with one shared desire…to feel good in our bodies! The desire can be the same, but the approach to getting there may be different. I honor each person’s uniqueness and value your personal yoga journey.
