About Ellen
With my small class size I provide my students with the best possible experience in class with a focus on their body's yoga each and every time they step on their mats.
I have a total of 5 years experience teaching at a Yoga Alliance (YA) recognized institute and have accumulated over 400 hours of teaching experience from which I have gained an in depth knowledge for teaching students of all levels, experience and body types.
As a certified Mindful Yoga Therapy instructor and Adapting Yoga for Disability training I am uniquely qualified to help patients suffering with mobility challenges and PTSD. These training also provide me with a deep understanding of relaxation and breathing techniques that can be used to help reduce stress, fatigue........

"In Learning Take Great Delight." I have found this quote to be a guiding principle of my life. It has fueled my passion to teach others how yoga can improve their health and well being. It has also led me to continue my training as a yoga instructor so that I can improve my knowledge of yoga.
I am a yoga instructor who got into yoga because of chronic back pain. I took a teacher training after practicing a few years, thinking I would use the information to improve my home practice. During my training I found that I really enjoyed teaching and more importantly helping people by adjusting postures to fit their bodies.

If the student is looking for group classes, I like to arrange for them to come to class about 15 minutes early, so we can sit and chat about what they are looking to get out of coming to a yoga class. Also if they have an previous experience. Finding a yoga instructor that you make a connection with is important, and for that reason their first class is also free.

I offer private lessons on a sliding scale. The price depends on wether or not the students is disabled.
Group classes are just $15.00. I also offer 6 Weeks series that are discounted.
