About Deborah
I am the owner/instructor of YogaMix Studio in Missouri City. My classes are small and intimate, not like a normal gym yoga class. The energies in my studio are very calming and noticeable as soon as you enter. I am also a Certified Aromatherapist and a Reiki Master Practitioner.
I have been doing yoga all my adult life. So it is my life! I love helping people better themselves thru exercise, yoga, meditation, Reiki sessions and Aromatherapy. All these practices marry very well together helping us all to live healthier, happier lives.
I was introduced to Hatha Yoga in 1974 by a friend and discovered the health benefits from the practice. I have been on this journey all of my adult life and in 2013 decided that I needed to share my experiences and my love for Yoga to any one that was interested. In 2014, I was introduced to the healing energies of Reiki and spiritually was drawn to this practice and received my Certification as a Reiki Master Practitioner in 2015. In 2011, I became very interested in the healing benefits of essential oils and began using them in my daily routine. In 2016, took the Aromatherpy course from Aromahead Institute.
I am a certified Yoga Instructor thru Lex Gillian of the Yoga Institute. I have been practicing yoga since 1974. I am also a Reiki Master Practitioner. I have received attunements from Rev. Jeff Wuttke, Charlene Fox and Heather Sievers over the past 3 years. I am also a Certified Aromatherapist thru the Aromahead Institue.

I typically invite the new student to a Introduction to Hatha Yoga at a time they are available. This class runs about 30 minutes. I teach the Complete Yogic Breathe, Ujjayi Breathing, a control breathe technique and several easy stretches and asanas. The cost for this Intro class is $20
I have worked with all types of students, young and old, flexible and inflexible, stiff and sore, closed & open minded. Yoga has helped them all.
When it is your time to learn, your teacher will appear!

I have been doing Yoga twice weekly with with Deborah for the past two years. I look forward to these two productive sessions which culminate in total relaxation. I am more flexible now than I was 30 years ago!
Yoga was recommended to me after recovering from an illness as a way to relax and get my mind and body in shape. I started attending yoga class and for me the experience has all been positive. It has help me both physically and mentally.
I attended yoga classes with Deborah and she is so knowledgeable. She makes the connections between poses easy and remembering to incorporate your breath a breeze. I will definitely return.
From the moment you step inside you start to feel stress fall away.
Deborah is an outstanding instructor that really cares about her clients. Because of her, my posture and balance has improved dramatically. She has my highest recommendation.
