About Shani
I am passionate about bringing yoga to students in an accessible way. While group classes are something that I enjoy teaching, being able to focus on an individual and their specific needs is something I love!! I would be honored to have the opportunity to tailor a yoga program to your wants and needs.
I have been practicing Yoga for about 10years and teaching for 2 1/2. When I'm not teaching I love spending time with my Husband and three Dalmatians!
I absolutely Love all aspects of Yoga, from the physical practice (asana) to the spiritual aspect to bringing it into everyday life. There is absolutely nothing more satisfying then being able to share my passion with others!!
I fell in love with the practice several years ago. When I was consistent (not necessarily an hour at a time...shorter practices work wonders as well) I noticed how much better I felt physically but also mentally. At that point I knew I wanted to share this with others and help them get started or continue on their journey!!
I am a 500 RYT along with being a certified Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga. I have extensive experience working with smaller groups and love private sessions as well.

Typically we would speak first over the phone so I can get a general idea of wants and needs. We then would schedule a continued consultation in person to further discuss and make sure that we're a good fit.
I have worked with a variety of students from one end of the spectrum to the next. Even kept a student going in her practice with a broken foot!
Be honest with what you expect and understand that not everyone will be a good fit for you. If you are looking for something that I know is not in my scope of teaching, I will always let you know and can refer you to other teachers that may be a better fit.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Again, expectations!! Are you looking for more of a physical practice? Spiritual (meditation)? Any health issues, mobility issues, past injuries etc. Also, yoga instructors are in no way shape or form able to diagnose or treat injuries. If you are working around a current or past injury always check with your family Physician first!!

Shani is the best! she is very clear about what to do, and being on Zoom it can be difficult to tell if you’re doing the move right. Shani explains clearly and simply what to do and how it should feel. Also a great human being all the way around which makes classes more comfortable and relaxed.
