About Melis
I am a skilled writer and editor with a background in Architecture. I was previously the editor at CLOG, an international print publication, and editor-in-chief at PLAT Journal, an academic architecture journal. I am also a writer at XXI Architecture and Design Magazine where my critical opinion pieces are published. I have tutoring experience with essay writing, critical thinking and writing, TOEFL & IELTS preparation among others.

My teaching method is based on helping students understand the structure of essay writing and organizing their thoughts with the use of effective word choice. I believe that the best way to learn is through practice, which is why I always encourage my students to write as much as they can and each time, I will point out an aspect of their writing that can get better so they can focus on specific areas throughout their practice.
