About Danielle

Danielle is a Registerd Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (500 hour RYT) and a Barre/Fitness Instructor from Seattle, WA, currently living her best life in in beautiful San Diego, CA. She currently teaches public, studio, and private classes around the city as well as virtually.

Danielle believes that YOU are your own best teacher, and no one can heal you except yourself. You have all of the answers within you, and meditation helps us realize this.

Danielle has taught yoga, led retreats and studied the yogic tradition and philosophy worldwide - she has taught yoga and TRX while living in Thailand and Vietnam, led yoga classes to Burmese nuns in a nunnery in Myanmar, and led yoga retreats in Thailand, Mexico and Bali. She's absolutely obsessed with movement and health/wellness and believes that group fitness and yoga are for everyone and anyone, regardless of how "experienced" you think you are.

She believes that yoga is more than a physical regime - it's a holistic way of living and a lifestyle that brings you into harmony with your inner world.

My yoga classes can be soft and flowy or quick and dynamic, paired with breath and intention. I teach power yoga, gentle yoga, slow flow, vinyasa, and restorative yoga. We always start out with the breath, some gentle movements, and if applicable flowing into more complicated movements. I strongly believe in the healing power of yoga/meditation and have seen myself as well as many others go through a journey of reconnection with their body, and taking control of their mindset and life through yoga.

My barre workouts are combination of Barre, Yoga, Pilates, and interval training - they are intense and high intensity, but low impact. Great for all levels and can be modified! I follow a specific format that ensures you'll get a full-body workout every time. It starts with a yoga style warm-up, we workout hard and then at the half-way mark, we take a stretch break. We then jump back into the workout for the remainder of the time, and end with another final stretch. It is truly the perfect balance for your mind and body.

I’m all about musicality! I believe this is what makes people feel good and want to move and be in the moment. My classes are very musical and I can guarantee you'll love every moment! I am always open to requests on class formats, poses, parts of the body to work, or even music. I love creating the experience! You can find all of my playlists on Spotify, from chill and restorative to upbeat workout playlists.

I believe that you are your own best teacher and hope to empower you to know this! I'm happy to guide you, share the practice, and share what I've learned thus far on my journey. Look forward to working with you.
