About Natalia
I am an experienced and passionate language teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. I am a former Head of the Languages Department at an independent school in London, where I taught Spanish and French from Year 7 to Year 13. I am currently a Principal Examiner for a UK based exam board, which gives me a deep understanding of what students need to succeed in GCSE, A Level, and IB examinations. I hold a degree in Portuguese, Spanish and French Language and Literature, a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages, and a Master’s in the Education of Languages. Over the years, I have helped students of all ages and backgrounds (from school pupils to adult professionals) achieve excellent results and gain confidence using French in real-life situations. As a multilingual speaker of Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and how to make lessons effective and enjoyable. My students describe me as patient, supportive, and highly organised. I tailor each lesson to the learner’s goals, ensuring steady progress through a mix of structured practice, conversation, and cultural insights.

I am a highly qualified and experienced French tutor, former Head of Languages at a leading independent London school and currently a Principal examiner for a UK based exam board. I have over 20 years of experience teaching French from beginner to advanced level, including GCSE, A level, IB, and professional learners. My lessons are fully tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving your fluency, or learning French for travel or business, I create a personalised plan to help you make rapid progress. My approach is communicative and structured: lessons combine speaking practice, grammar in context, listening and reading skills, and targeted feedback on pronunciation and writing. I use authentic materials (articles, videos, podcasts) to make learning engaging and relevant to real life. I’m passionate about helping learners gain confidence and accuracy while developing a natural command of the language. Many of my students achieve top grades in public exams or advance quickly in professional settings. Lessons are held online via Zoom or Teams, with all materials provided.
