I’m a native Spanish speaker, qualified high school Spanish teacher, and a GCSE Spanish examiner, with extensive experience helping students succeed and gain confidence in Spanish.

My approach to tutoring & how I teach
I am a versatile and adaptable tutor, and I always tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, goals, and learning style. No two students are the same, so my teaching approach is flexible, engaging, and student-centred.
For GCSE Spanish, my lessons are exam-focused and structured, using targeted exam board materials to develop the four key skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, confidence, and understanding what examiners are looking for, helping students maximise their results.
For general Spanish learners, I focus on real-life communication. Lessons are built around what the student enjoys, needs, or wants to achieve (travel, work, conversation, or personal interest). I use authentic materials, practical vocabulary, and a fun, gamified approach to make learning enjoyable while ensuring real progress.

Lesson length
