About Martina
I have over 5 years of experience teaching piano to college students and enjoy helping learners grow with confidence and musical understanding. My teaching style is flexible and student-focused, allowing lessons to match each student’s goals, pace, and learning style. I focus on building strong foundations in piano technique, sight-reading, rhythm, and music theory. To keep lessons interesting and enjoyable.
I use creative methods such as improvisation, simple composition exercises, and blending classical music with modern styles. I also help students improve performance confidence and expressive playing. My goal is to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore music, improve steadily, and develop a lifelong love for piano.

My piano teaching methodology is creative, student-focused, and structured. I aim to guide students as a mentor while helping them grow into independent, confident musicians.
Creativity is central to my lessons. Students explore songs they love, practice improvisation, and take part in interactive exercises. This keeps lessons fun, inspiring, and motivating.
As a critical thinker, I guide students to understand rhythm, scales, chords, hand coordination, and musical expression. Complex concepts are simplified so students can learn effectively and improve steadily.
Accountability is emphasized through clear goal setting, consistent practice routines, and regular progress reviews. This helps students stay disciplined, responsible, and motivated.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and simple composition to strengthen musical foundations.
