My teaching method and techniques
My method is centered on Scaffolded Learning. I don't just provide answers; I provide the mental "tools" to find them.
Active Reading: For English Literature, we move beyond plot summaries to deep thematic and structural analysis.
Strategic Test-Taking: For GCSEs, I teach students how to "read the examiner’s mind" by identifying question patterns and marking criteria.
The Feedback Loop: I use real-time collaborative editing (via Google Docs or digital whiteboards), so students receive immediate corrections on their writing style and grammar.
To make the best use of our time together, I plan the following
Warm-up (5 min): Quick retrieval quiz to cement prior learning.

Independent Task (15 min): Student application with live, immediate feedback.
