About Neha

I hold an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and I am currently pursuing medicine, ensuring a solid foundation in a rigorous academic programme. This background equips me with a deep understanding of the subjects I teach and enables me to guide students effectively through their studies. With over two years of part-time tutoring experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my sessions. Specialising in IB Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, and Theory of Knowledge (TOK), I cater to students seeking excellence in these subjects. My commitment to online lessons ensures accessibility and flexibility for students worldwide. I currently teach a diverse range of IB students, including Biology, Psychology, Chemistry, and Maths, demonstrating my versatility and proficiency across multiple disciplines. Through customised materials and engaging lesson plans, I ensure that each student receives personalised attention and achieves their academic goals. My dedication to student success is reflected in my approach to teaching. I provide comprehensive notes and resources, sparing students the need for additional research and allowing them to focus on mastering the material. Additionally, I design tailored practice papers to sharpen exam skills and address weaknesses, empowering students to excel in assessments. As a patient and responsible tutor, I prioritise clarity and understanding in every lesson. I break down complex concepts into digestible segments, fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore challenging topics. With a proven track record of academic achievement and a commitment to excellence, I am here to guide you on your educational journey with professionalism and expertise. Let's embark on this learning adventure together!

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is centred on personalised instruction, interactive engagement, and comprehensive support to ensure each student achieves their academic goals. I employ a variety of techniques tailored to the individual learning styles and needs of my students. This includes clear explanations, illustrative examples, interactive discussions, and problem-solving exercises. I believe in fostering critical thinking and conceptual understanding rather than rote memorisation, empowering students to apply their knowledge confidently in different contexts. Additionally, I integrate multimedia resources, simulations, and real-world applications to make lessons dynamic and engaging. The length of a lesson typically ranges from 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the complexity of the subject matter and the student's preferences. I prioritise quality over quantity, ensuring that each session is focused, productive, and conducive to meaningful learning outcomes. With over two years of experience as a part-time tutor, I have honed my skills in guiding students through challenging academic concepts and examinations. My educational background includes obtaining an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, providing me with a deep understanding of the curriculum and assessment criteria. Additionally, I stay updated on pedagogical best practices and subject-specific advancements to continually enhance my teaching effectiveness. My lessons cater primarily to IB students seeking support in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, and Theory of Knowledge (TOK). These students typically range in age from 16 to 19 and are preparing for their IB examinations. However, I am also open to tutoring students at similar academic levels or those pursuing related courses outside of the IB curriculum. In summary, my tutoring approach emphasises personalised instruction, interactive engagement, and comprehensive support to empower students to excel academically. With a focus on conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and effective communication, I guide students through challenging material with patience, expertise, and dedication.

Neha is very down to earth and a bubbly girl. It is easy to bring up questions when I was unsure. Her notes are clear, comprehensive and neat which helped me alot when I was studying. I was able to catch up on a lot of the sylabus because of her notes. She gives appropriate amount of homework and exercises that did not overwhelm me but still pushed me. I took tuition with her just a few months before my exam and I improved from a 3/4 to a 6 in Chemistry. (IB)
Thanks Neha!
