About Jade
My love for fashion design started during lockdown, when I taught myself to use a sewing machine and started a small business creating and selling handmade garments. This led me to study fashion at university, where I expanded my practical skills and creative practice, while beginning my journey in teaching circus arts. From this, I have gained a great sense of fulfilment and my aim is to continue sharing my knowledge in all disciplines and inspiring others to unlock their creative potential.

My teaching approach is hands-on and student-led, focusing on practical skills, like sewing and pattern-making techniques, and working with various materials and equipment. Whether you're looking to create functional pieces, artistic garments or personalised gifts, each lesson is tailored to the student's interests, ensuring they develop both the technical skills and the confidence to bring their visions to life, no matter their experience or aspirations. Lessons vary from 1-2 hours. Own sewing machine recommended. All ages 12+ welcome.
