About Ilma
My name is Ilma and I've always had a passion for maths, and numbers in general. I truly believe that if students were taught maths in a more exciting manner, with real-world applications, and an emphasis on understanding why (as opposed to simply memorising a rote method for a specific problem), there would be much more engagement within the subject, and it would become easier for students to apply their knowledge in other areas.

I want to make maths more engaging so students remain interested and remember the skills long after they complete their exams. A typical lesson will be an hour long.
I received a 9 (A**) in my GCSE maths exam, and an A in my A-Levels maths exam, which allowed me to study medicine at university.
