About Sona

I am a driven and ambitious fifth-year medical student who combines academic excellence with a genuine love for mentoring young learners. Having balanced the demands of medical school with years of teaching experience, I understand discipline, resilience, and effective study strategy at a high level. I bring energy, clarity, and structure into every lesson, creating a calm but focused environment where students feel safe to ask questions and challenge themselves. My goal is not just grade improvement, but transformation — helping students think critically, approach problems logically, and develop habits that benefit them far beyond their exams. I take pride in being dependable, organised, and deeply invested in each student’s progress, celebrating their wins and guiding them through challenges with patience and encouragement.

About the lesson

I offer structured, engaging GCSE Maths and Science lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs. As a fifth-year medical student, I focus on building deep understanding rather than memorisation. Lessons include clear explanations, visual methods, exam-style practice questions, and step-by-step guidance. I help students strengthen problem-solving skills, improve exam technique, and build the confidence needed to achieve higher grades independently.
