About Carrie
I am a filmmaker on the cusp of graduating from the acclaimed Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts.
I have over 1000 hours of experience in multiple ATL and BTL positions on 40+ student films through pre-,post-, and onset production. Positions included 1st and 2nd Assistand Director, 1st and 2nd Assistant Camera, Unit Production Manager, Script Supervisor, Sound Mixer, Boom operator, Best Boy Grip, Key Grip, Gaffer, and Editor.
I have also worked with an Academy Award winning Professor through the process of developing a 1st and 2nd draft of a 90 page Feature Screenplay as a College Honors Thesis Project.

I approach each and every student with a focus on being student specific and forming to the various needs of each student! For Film & Cinema Analysis, I create a lesson structure that deems fit to the student's interests by choosing specific films to develop the student's understanding of film genre's and provide essay topics to develop scene analysis skills.
For Film Production, I walk the student's through the development process of a short film/TV Pilots from Concept development to Pre-Production to Post- Production.
For Screenwriting, I provide information on the ideal screenwriting arcs and develop lessons structures to strengthen core screenwriting understanding for student's with a basic understanding or advanced understanding.
