I am a university student going into my third and final year. I started to write and create script work near the end of high school and into university. Since starting to write I have gotten positive reviews from audience members, high marks in the practical work I have helped write and choreograph at university, as well as getting a 'First' or an 'A-Grade' on my script writing submission.
I work with people of all ages, however, I mostly have experience with older aged primary school children and young adults. I teach screenwriting via a practical method; I believe that people learn best when they're working on something they care about. So students will develop ideas and write at least a first if not second, third and fourth draft with me.
I've been exploring the world of film since I was a child, and as I grow older my love for it grows with me. I teach several classes from Video Editing to Film Theory.

The film world is one where one needs to understand the whole process in order to be good at one particular section. It is one where the student needs to be encouraged to find their specific talent. Discuss ideas, gain input, then be disciplined in the approach in order to deliver the right result. When writing stories or scripts get the idea down on paper first even if it I not perfect.

I believe that in order for a passion in filmmaking to be fostered, fun is an important quality. Creativity blossoms in the right environment. Filmmaking is filmmaking, no matter what level of education you are at. Student films and professional films both need the same thing: a script. Through story analysis and a step outline to a complete screenplay, I can help you translate your basic idea for a film into a document that can be produced by any team of filmmakers, student or professional.
