About Seigfried
I'm a final-year Computer Science student minoring in mathematics, and I've spent the past few years deep in exactly the subjects I now tutor: from programming and algorithms to calculus and statistics. I genuinely love this material, and that enthusiasm is what I bring to every session.
I take tutoring seriously and treat it professionally: I come prepared, arrive on time, communicate clearly, and focus entirely on what you're trying to achieve, whether that's passing a paper, lifting a grade, or finally feeling confident with a topic. I'm a final-year Computer Science student minoring in mathematics, and I love the moment a tricky concept finally clicks for someone. My style is hands-on and built around you: instead of lecturing, I work through real problems, your own assignments, past exam questions, or the code you're stuck on and guide you to the solution yourself, so it actually sticks when you're working alone. I keep explanations plain and jargon-free, and I adjust the pace to suit how you learn.
Lessons usually run around an hour, with flexibility to go longer when an exam or deadline is bearing down. I help with programming (Python, C#, and the core fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, software design) and with maths (calculus, algebra, statistics).
I tutor everyone from high school students to university undergraduates, complete beginners included. Having recently sat these exact courses myself, I know where people get stuck, and I'll help you get unstuck, patiently.
