I like to give the first few lessons in a theoretical manned and explain the basis of the game and some rare techniques used. Then I move on to teaching the field where a particular student is interested in (such as a student who wants to specialise in either batting or bowling). Fielding is an important asset and is mandatory during each session. I would encourage students to look into the more analytical side of the game and always think out of the box.
