Teaching Methodology I keep things simple. I know how confusing lecturers can be, so my goal is to explain the hard theory in plain English first. Once you get the concept, we spend most of the class doing practice questions.
I don't believe in just reading off slides. For Accounting and Finance, we will work through tutorial questions or past year papers together until you can solve them on your own. For English, we will just practice speaking or writing until you feel natural and stop translating in your head.
Lesson Length: 1 hour (negotiable).
Qualifications & Experience I am currently a Finance student competing in the CFA Institute Research Challenge, where I build financial models and equity reports for real companies. I’m also a School of Social Sciences officer at my university, so I have a lot of experience with public speaking and academic writing. I know exactly what lecturers are looking for.
