About Simon

I have worked in (and still do) financial markets for over 30 years. From stockbroking to fixed income/equity trading in my earlier career, I have spent time in equity sales for large institutions and throughout this period helped people with portfolio construction and most recently with financial litigation. Since 2017 I have spoken at a host of top universities both in the UK and China on Global Financial Markets running courses for students at UG, MSc and MBA levels.

About the lesson

I teach no theory but concentrate on practical markets. I look at what is happening now and how we incorporate that into investment decisions. I cover all asset classes with a focus on the medium to long term. I aim to build up students' financial knowledge and their ability to decipher and implement investment decisions.
