About Ibadat
I am a university student who achieved an A* in my fine art a level this year (2025), with one of the top portfolios in the country. I achieved a grade 9 in three separate GCSE art and design technology courses and one of my works has been in the Royal Academy's Young Artist's Summer Show in 2024, as well as in the local paper. I want to teach to build confidence. I am largely self-taught and believe in practice, creativity, and exploration.

It is important to me that people recognise fine art as an academic subject for both GCSE's and A-levels. I can provide help on how to build your portfolio or sketchbook for the subject through building on critical and contextual skills, as well as your artistic skills. I can vary my sessions based on your needs, such as delivering sessions on colour theory and how to plan a piece of work, or how to analyse an artist and explore concepts to help navigate a theme in your sketchbook.
I did fine art and critical & contextual art GCSE's, for which I recieved 9s/A*s, and also achieved A* for A-level art. From this, I have a secure understanding of what exam boards require out of students.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, in which I would need engagement from you so that I can understand your portfolio and its theme better. I am happy to adjust timings of the session to suit your needs.
Note, I can also teach techniques, how to work in different mediums, and guide you through the process of painting or drawing. However, this would be limited to my style and knowledge, and you will need to have your own materials for most occasions. I can also help you select the best materials for you, based on cost and quality.
Prices are negotiable and lessons and packages can vary in time depending on your needs. Hourly rate is more relevant to those wanting regular, short lessons, such as weekly. Ideally hour long lessons should be for dry materials like pencil. Packages are like 1-2-1 workshops tailored to exactly what you want to learn and produce.

Ibadat is an amazing person with true passions, which show when you talk to her. She is great at explaining things in a way that makes the abstract concrete. Her skill of being incredibly intelligent, paired with being a natural conversationalist makes her the ideal tutor for you.
I work closely with Ibby in A-Level Art, her artistic and language ability is outstanding ! All of her pieces have really good descriptions, evaluations, and artistic techniques- additionally she achieved an A* for her mocks, which is further proof that she is very capable of navigating the exam boards expectations.
