MFA in Painting. 12+ yrs.
The process of painting is about capturing the mood in how the lights and shadows play across locations and environments. I am drawn to paint shapes created from the push and pull against each other. Each painting is a process of building forms and sculpting shapes by defining light and shadow so that they evolve in a dynamic play of patterns, textures, and colors of landscapes and still life.

Creative instruction in Fine Arts - painting through color theory, and impressionist design in Water-soluble oils, watercolor, and pen & ink, using exploration & modeling and Socratic techniques to discuss and evaluate growth.
The first step to creative painting is understanding your medium and design elements. We will work on simplifying the complex to find a smooth path to build understanding of shapes and forms to convey the intention and subjects through practice and repetition.
For beginning students ages 14+ and adults.
I hold 10+ yrs tutorials in academic areas and AVID Socratic training, as well as MFA in Painting.
