I can help you answer them through proposing artists you need to look at, philosophies that may interest you and materials you might like to experiment with.
I approach each topic from the conceptual part and I always work with students' interests and strengths. I like to see myself as a facilitator of thought rather than just teaching technical skills. My own career as an artist allows me to have an advantage in developing ideas and concepts into a finished outcome.
My teaching method is a classic step by step one, disciplined and at the same time, eyes and mind opening.
My painting courses are children oriented (7 - 16 years old), with the main goal of developing the confidence, the joy of creating something unique, the fun and the happiness. I strongly believe that painting is a skill which can be learned and each child has his or her personality and artistically must be guided to reveal their inner creative storm.
Doing my HNC I discovered that being obsessed with perfection and realistic style is not always the option. Illustration as art is freedom, is having your own style. My teaching method is by connecting art with the people. For me the better you feel and see throughout the material the best. As an artist I feel like, the more you connect with the artwork or with the artist the better, you can see the reason behind the art piece, which is the most important thing.
I can summarise my method as a person centred education what means professor is focusing in the student needs as individual: Strength, weakness, targets, etc.
The world of work is in a state of continual change: your career today may involve moving between a number of different job functions and employers, and those jobs and employers are themselves likely to change and develop during the time you are employed in them.
I cover a curriculumfrom basic to advbanced and develop each person's own style. I do not do Hyper realism to cover but present it in an informal relaxed fashion. I keep materials to a minimum as the restriction is the basis for creativity.
My teaching method is to either help you discover and experience multiple techniques until you find your personal style or focusing on your existing skills and improving them on the specific area(s) in which you have the ambition to perfect your abilities.
In relation to art I like to have my class as an open session where I give students room to think about it while still teaching them art
