About Megan
I recently graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a First Class Honours in BSc Finance and will be undertaking MSc Applied Economics at University College Dublin in September. I have tutored 6 students at various levels in Mathematics and English (up to and including GCSE).

I have a flexible teaching style, and I will adapt to the student's needs and level in order to hone in and improve areas the student, parents and myself identify. I will prepare a number of relevant activities for the session, usually with one game or more interactive element. I like students to take the lead and encourage initiative to develop problem solving skills with the activities I set. I prefer students attempt a question, recognise when they're unsure and voice their reasoning for a solution to a problem, which we will then discuss. For English, I prefer a "workshop" style for higher level classes, and will encourage the student to critique their own work.
