Methodology

Hello I'm Anna, and I am offering tuition in History and an editing service for essays, coursework and personal statements and/or research proposals.

One-to-one tuition

I tutor history modules for secondary school, GCSE, A-Level and degree-level courses, and I am able to assist with comprehension of the time period, essay writing, and exam technique.

I will work with you to reach your goal, whether this an increase in your grade, improvement in your ability to write, talking through issues that you do not understand, or simply a better understanding of the period. Please contact me to discuss how I can help you.

I charge £35 an hour.

Essay editing

I offer a comprehensive essay editing service for coursework, essays, personal statements and research proposals. Before looking at your work, I will research around the subject to ensure that I understand the context in which you are writing. I will then provide you with detailed feedback on your work, including argument, evidence, structure and spelling and grammar. For those who want to develop their work further, I will work with you to develop your ideas and can propose additions to the essay.
