As a recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh with first-class honours in English Literature, I have a good understanding of marking schemes and the criteria for a successful essay. I create a friendly and interactive learning environment where students are encouraged to express themselves and develop their interest in literature. As someone with experience in academic writing and directing for theatre, I have a well-rounded knowledge of this subject and its history.

I like to create fun, interactive lessons adapted to the student's goals. After getting to know the student in the first free lesson, I set aims and create lesson plans around what the student would like to achieve. As a published academic writer with editing and proofreading experience, I help students craft insightful and analytical essays. Alongside developing the student's essential writing, reading, and critical skills, I look for new and inspiring ways to unlock literary texts.
