About Daisy
I have just graduated with a first-class degree in History from the University of Edinburgh. I have experience tutoring at secondary school level and have helped primary school students with homework as part of work as a babysitter. I am offering online tutoring in History to anybody up to University level while I study for my Masters in London and work on various research projects. I specialize in the history of British colonialism but have varied interests and would be able to help those with a differing focus on research methods, essay writing skills, and exam prep.

My teaching methods are flexible based on the individual needs and priorities of the student. I find it is usually best to tackle History thematically, but understand that a focus on chronology is important for contextualizing historical events. Lessons can focus on themes or big topics, chronology, or practical skills such as essay writing, research skills, or engaging with primary sources.
