About Harry
Hi Everyone!
I’ve always had a genuine love for learning, and I enjoy passing that curiosity on to the next generation through engaging, thoughtfully designed lesson plans that make learning both effective and enjoyable.
Outside of academia, I’m naturally inquisitive and enjoy taking on new challenges. During secondary school, I taught myself the piano using only online resources, and throughout university I independently learned Spanish. These experiences have opened doors I never expected, most notably travelling across South America and spending two months living with a host family in Madrid.
I am currently between Investment Banking Jobs so will be able to dedicate time to tutoring until July 2026.

I’m an experienced tutor specialising in Mathematics, Economics, and Finance, with over three years of tutoring experience both at the London School of Economics (LSE) and through private online lessons via Zoom.
I achieved a First Class Honours degree at LSE and previously earned four A*s at A Level (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics, and History). In my lessons, I draw heavily on my own carefully developed notes and learning strategies, refined throughout my academic journey, to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
In addition to academic tutoring, I offer tailored guidance for students aiming to break into the financial sector. This expertise comes from extensive interview experience during my time at LSE, widely regarded as the most competitive university for investment banking applications, as well as internships at Morgan Stanley and BNP Paribas. I am also an active mentor for current LSE students pursuing finance careers.

Academic tutoring (ages 10–16, up to GCSE level)
30 minutes: £40
1 hour: £60
Group lesson pricing available on request
Finance career mentoring
30-minute session: £50
All academic lessons are delivered via Zoom, using OneNote screen sharing. Sessions typically include concept teaching, guided practice exercises completed together, and optional homework to reinforce learning between lessons.

Details
I offer a free 30 minute lesson where we can simply have a call and get to know each other, understand your level, and see where and how I can best help you. This is also a chance for me to speak with the parents.
I will show you an example of previous lessons I've done and you can see if you like the style!
I have a strict policy of absolutely no hard feelings if you would like to go separate ways after this introductory lesson, but I've never had this issue :)
