About Jessica
I am a Maths graduate holding a first class honours degree and have a passion for teaching. Mathematics is not for everyone, and I find it unfair to some students that this is a required subject to pass or succeed in to prove that you are a good student. Accepting tutoring does not mean I will help you get an A. I have experience with students only wanting to pass Maths because it is required for applications to their desired Universities or job opportunities. My priority is to help you understand topics you need to, not to develop a love for Mathematics. Although, however I adapt my teaching style to you, it will not help unless you are truly willing to learn and improve your grade.

I like personalising classes to each student, getting to know them and their interests. I prefer in person classes, but have the required technology for online lessons. A typical lesson would be 1 or 2 hours, once or twice a week. I have more experience with tutoring 14-18 year old students who are struggling with their school teacher's teaching styles. I would have an introduction lesson with the student, to see what they understand and what they have been taught at school. I would then build lesson plans and create exercises for their initial level, slowly reaching the required level for tests and exams. I am always available for questions or homework enquiry through text messages.
