About Abie
Achieved an A* in A Level English Literature and grades 8 and 9 in English Language and Literature respectively.
As both an English tutor and a basketball coach, I love to share my knowledge and passion with others who are looking to develop their skills and confidence. I enjoy planning sessions and finding fun, creative, and personalised ways to explain new concepts and engage the student. I am keen to build rapports with students and parents in order to maximise enjoyment, fulfil the individual learning needs of the student, and create a safe and supportive environment which allows the student to flourish.

Before we begin our sessions, I will take some time to get to know the student, their abilities, and their preferred learning styles. Based on this information, I will craft lessons which I think will maximise their engagement and enjoyment. I have spent over a year tutoring GCSE English Language and Literature twice a week, and my sessions would typically last 1 - 2 hours depending on the student's needs.
