About David
Hello, I am currently a second year student of Master of FLE. I already have a Master of Modern Literature and last year I got the Capes contest (rank 125). I have just returned from a nine-month internship in India, where I taught French at university. I also taught French for nine months in Taipei, and offered six-month support classes at a vocational high school in Vénissieux. I will be happy to help you develop your language and / or literature skills, in general or with the goal of obtaining a Bachelor's degree, Capes, or any other exam or competition.

In general, I will adapt my course to the learner profile. Before the first class, I will ask for the objectives, the strengths and difficulties, the courses followed and / or the manual used. In language, my skills as a teacher of FLE allowed me to develop a multitude of teaching techniques to learn grammar more playfully. I generally prefer a work on text, rather than on sentence. Concerning written production and oral production, I first review the objectives of the targeted practice, then it is the learner's turn to try, to be wrong, so that I can subsequently readjust his production. and propose a set of methodological advice. For the writing, I correct the production outside the course and then propose a return face to face: my corrections are extremely detailed and I add a scale, adapted to each type of exercise and the level of the learner. For the literature, we will start from the understanding of the text, before returning on your ideas or your emotions and, only then, I will intervene in order to develop the context and the analysis, always starting from your ideas. Of course, many exercises and parallel activities will be added according to needs, such as reading aloud or micro-presentations to better understand an aesthetic context by explaining it yourself ...
