About Alexis
I first discovered my love for literature in the 9th grade, pretty late in the game honestly. It was difficult to get me to want to engage in the work beforehand because it never interested me. When 9th grade came around, I had a teacher that built a curriculum with topics I already loved, which sparked my curiosity to learn. Once I wrote my first essay of the semester, my teacher called my mom and asked if I would be interested in transferring to the honors class. I felt so good about myself and my work. I realized it wasn’t the subject, it was the way I was learning it. I now strive to help other people who are in the same situation I was in to find their greatest potential!
