About Jasmine
As a vocal coach with 7 years of teaching and performing experience, I specialize in helping singers bridge the gap between vocal technique and emotional authenticity. I work with students from middle school to adulthood and across a range of musical styles—whether you're singing pop ballads, musical theater classics, gospel anthems, or original compositions. My lessons are rooted in the belief that a strong, healthy technique is the key to vocal freedom. We’ll cover breath control, vocal registration, resonance strategies, and sustainable tone production—all explained in accessible, body-aware terms. I also bring in the creative side of vocal training, coaching students on lyrical interpretation, musical phrasing, dynamics, and character development. I frequently use audio recording and playback, not only to track growth but also to teach critical listening and self-awareness. I incorporate vocal exercises that evolve with the student and use apps and backing tracks to keep lessons dynamic and engaging. Whether you’re working toward auditions, live gigs, or simply building confidence, I’ll be your technical guide and your artistic cheerleader. Students leave each session with concrete goals, encouraging feedback, and new tools to explore their voice. I also provide support in managing performance anxiety, maintaining vocal health, and discovering a sense of identity through music. Singing is a powerful form of self-expression that connects mind, body, and emotion, and for the past 7 years, I’ve dedicated myself to helping students unlock their full vocal potential by fostering both technical skill and emotional authenticity.
Every student I work with is unique, so I design personalized lessons that blend classical vocal fundamentals with contemporary approaches, ensuring a well-rounded development of breath control, pitch accuracy, tone quality, diction, and phrasing. But technique is just the starting point—
true artistry comes from learning to tell your story through song, and I help students explore this by working on musical interpretation, emotional connection, and performance presence.
We dive into genres that excite and challenge you, whether it’s musical theatre, pop, jazz, or indie acoustic, with tailored exercises, creative challenges, and repertoire that inspire growth. I use technology such as pitch visualizers, recording reviews, and customized warm-up playlists to support consistent progress outside of lesson time. My lessons also emphasize vocal health, teaching sustainable habits like hydration, vocal rest, and safe warm-up/cool-down routines that keep the voice strong through rehearsals and performances.
