Everyone has had days where it just works.

You're sharp. You're not thinking about how you're doing, you're just doing it. Time disappears and you come out the other side having done better than you expected.

Then there are the other days. Same work. Same you. Except now you're stuck in your own head, second-guessing every move, and everything feels so much harder.

Same person. Same task. Different state.

That state has a name: flow. It's been studied in psychology for decades. Most people wait for it to show up by luck. But the conditions that make it more likely can be deliberately developed.

That's what I coach.

What it helps with

Procrastination. Starting the thing you keep avoiding, and finishing it.

Focus. Working for longer stretches without your attention breaking every few minutes.

Stress and overwhelm. Handling pressure without it flattening you.

Performance under pressure. Exams, pitches, competitions, presentations and important deadlines.

Confidence. Not affirmations. Confidence follows evidence, so we build the evidence.

Motivation. Getting your effort and your goals pointing the same way, so the work stops feeling like a push.

Burnout and recovery. Working hard is fine. Working hard with no recovery is why people burn out. Learning to perform sustainably matters just as much as learning to perform at your best.

Different problems on the surface. Underneath, many of them come back to the same thing: you're trying to do good work in a state that makes good work hard.

My approach

Practical, every session. You leave with something to use.

We find what's actually blocking you, and it's usually not willpower. My coaching combines principles from Flow psychology with practical coaching tools that we test, refine and adapt to your situation.

We build the conditions that help you access your best performances more reliably, then test and adjust them until they work for you. Then we make them stick under pressure, because anything that only works on a good day isn't much use.

We track what changes. If something isn't working, we adjust it.

Sessions

Sessions are 60 minutes and take place online. Most people book weekly so that we can build, test and refine changes over time.

I'm a qualified Flow Performance Coach and an Oxford graduate.

Who it's for

Adults and older students. You might be preparing for exams, building a career, competing in sport, creating something, running a business, or simply trying to do better work.

You don't need to be struggling. Lots of the people I work with are doing well already. They just know there's a gap between their good days and their best ones, and they want more of their best ones.

The goal isn't to become a different person. It's to spend more time performing like the person you already know you're capable of being.
