About Julia
I am a flute teacher with a unique background. I completed my Master's in Canada before moving to South America for seven years to teach and learn about the diverse types of music from the continent. I have experience with individual and group classes, and with many types of musical genres.

I adapt my methodology based on the needs of my students. If you would like to complete RCM exams, for example, we will work through the syllabus in order to prepare a successful exam. If you are looking to play your favourite song, we will learn it with the appropriate accompaniment. Much of my focus is on sound quality and technical excellence, which I develop using the long-standing (and proven) flute method books available.

Details
Cancellations must be made up to 24 hours in advance, or the class must be paid for. All materials (instrument, books, music stand, tuner, metronome, etc.) will be paid for by the student. Due to COVID, any in-person classes will be offered using the appropriate measures, such as distancing and the use of a plastic face shield.
