I am a dedicated person with a passion for working with young children. I believe that music has the power to inspire, connect, and build confidence from an early age. I want to teach because I have seen firsthand how music can light up a child’s world. That first sound on the flute, the joy of learning a simple melody, and the pride of accomplishing something new—these are moments that stay with a child for life.

When teaching younger adolescents aged 6 to 10, my instructional approach emphasizes foundational skills delivered in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. Each one-hour lesson focuses on key elements such as breathing control techniques, proper hand positioning, and rhythm development. Breathing exercises are introduced to help students improve focus, control, and stamina, particularly important in activities involving physical or vocal performance. Hand positioning is taught through clear demonstrations and guided practice to ensure students develop correct and safe technique from the start. Lessons are carefully structured to maintain students’ attention and energy, with time allocated for warm-up, focused instruction, and review. Throughout, I use positive reinforcement and adaptive strategies to meet each student’s developmental needs while fostering confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
