About Toni
With more than 11 years of experience teaching French to college students, I focus on practical learning and strong academic support.
My teaching style is calm, friendly, and flexible. I adapt lessons to suit each student’s pace and goals. Grammar and vocabulary are taught using clear explanations and real-life examples.
I use innovative techniques such as conversation-based learning, scenario practice, interactive worksheets, listening tasks, and role-plays. These activities help students apply French in exams, presentations, and daily communication.
I create a safe and supportive environment where students feel confident to speak and ask questions. Regular feedback helps them stay motivated and track progress.
My aim is to help college students feel comfortable and confident using French.

I teach French using a practical, student-focused methodology that emphasises creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. Lessons are interactive and engaging, using role-plays, storytelling, dialogues, and real-life scenarios to strengthen reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Creativity is infused into every activity, making learning enjoyable and memorable.
As a mentor, I guide students to analyse grammar, expand vocabulary, and understand sentence structures critically. They are encouraged to solve language challenges independently and think creatively, building confidence and strong problem-solving skills.
Accountability is central to my approach. I help students set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to ensure steady improvement. Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style, pace, and strengths.
In addition to French, I can teach literature, writing, and general language skills. My goal is to create a supportive, inspiring, and adaptable learning environment where students not only master French but also develop creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong skills.
