About Freya
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 10 years of experience teaching high school students, college students, and adults. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 300 students, helping them develop strong piano skills, musical understanding, and confidence.
My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, clarity, and personalized learning. I believe that every student learns in their own way, so I tailor lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and interests. I aim to make piano learning enjoyable, practical, and motivating.
In my lessons, I emphasize posture, hand technique, finger control, rhythm, and music reading. I also introduce basic music theory in a simple, easy-to-understand way. I use real-life examples and songs to make lessons engaging and relevant.
One of my proudest achievements is guiding beginners to become confident performers and helping adult learners return to music after a break. Many students have progressed steadily under my guidance.
My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel inspired to practice and enjoy piano. I aim to help every learner reach their full potential."

My teaching approach for piano is based on clear communication, patience, and practical understanding. I believe every student can learn music when lessons are explained in a simple and supportive way. I first understand the student’s goals, interests, and learning ability, then plan lessons that suit their pace and comfort level.
I adapt my teaching style for different learners by using demonstrations, listening exercises, and hands-on practice. Real-life examples such as popular songs, everyday practice situations, and performance experiences are used to explain concepts clearly. Case studies of skilled pianists help students understand how dedication and practice lead to progress.
Along with piano performance, I teach music theory, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, and basic harmony. Students also learn correct posture, finger movement, and effective practice habits. My aim is to help students enjoy piano learning.
