About Roberto
I am a UEFA C qualified football coach and former professional footballer, with experience coaching players of different ages and abilities.
My coaching philosophy focuses on three key areas: technical, physical and mental development, alongside building a deeper understanding of the game.
Drawing on my experience as both a player and a coach, I believe that developing a good footballer goes beyond technical ability. Game awareness, decision-making, movement, confidence and the ability to perform under pressure are equally important.
I take a player-centred approach, adapting my coaching to each individual’s strengths, weaknesses and development needs.
I am passionate about mentoring young players, helping them build confidence, develop a strong mindset and become more intelligent, technically capable footballers while maintaining their enjoyment of the game.

My coaching sessions are designed to help children and teenagers develop their technical ability, physical coordination, confidence and understanding of the game.
Training focuses on first touch, ball control, dribbling, passing, finishing, agility, balance and reaction speed, alongside awareness, positioning and decision-making under pressure.
My approach combines technical development with realistic game situations, helping players understand not only how to perform a skill, but when and why to use it.
Every session is tailored to the player’s age, ability and individual needs, with a strong focus on building confidence, improving weaknesses and developing a positive, competitive mindset.
1-to-1 and small-group coaching available across Wood Green, Muswell Hill and surrounding North London areas.
