About Spencer

Hi, I'm Spencer! I'm a Fordham Law student and an Emory grad (3.94 GPA), and honestly, I tutor because I love it. I'm a National AP Scholar, an Emory Honor Council member, a Franklin Fellow, and the former Editor-in-Chief of the Emory Wheel college newspaper, where I published 154 articles — so I know exactly what it's like to juggle a heavy workload and high-stakes exams. My sessions are patient, upbeat, and built around you: we break the hard stuff into clear, doable steps and keep things friendly and focused. Whether you're chasing a dream score or just want to walk into test day feeling confident, I'm in your corner.

About the lesson

First session FREE for new students!

5-session packs — pay for 4, get the 5th free!

Is AP English stressing you out? Timed essays, tricky passages, and analysis terms that all blur together — it's a lot, and you're not alone in feeling it.

I'm Spencer, a Fordham Law student, Emory grad (3.94 GPA), and National AP Scholar. As the former Editor-in-Chief of the Emory Wheel with 154 published articles, I live and breathe close reading and strong writing — and I love helping students crack this exam.

We'll work through close reading, rhetorical analysis, and timed essay practice, all tailored to your goals and your pace. My sessions are patient, structured, and encouraging — focused on real score improvement and genuine confidence, not just test tricks.

All sessions are private, one-on-one — just you and me.

Lessons are online or in person in Manhattan, NYC. Available Monday-Thursday 5-9pm ET and all day Saturday and Sunday. Message me through Superprof — let's make AP English your strong suit!
