About KIRSTEN
Formerly educated in Paris, France, I am a bilingual native speaker of English and French with a BA in French and Linguistics from Florida Atlantic University.
I currently work as a French/English Interpreter and during my spare time, I enjoy tutoring students in an enjoyable and enriching learning environment. My goal is to help students thrive and succeed!

I like to use the communicative approach in lessons and tutoring. By engaging in meaningful communication, students are motivated to learn about each other, this could be in a group setting or one on one with myself and the student.
The focus is on the content, asking question and giving answers while leaning about French culture. This method helps students improve their vocabulary and pronunciation.
I like to use French stories, French TV and movies in lessons, or I could simply help the student with what they are learning in their current studies.
Level: Beginner - intermediate French.
