About MOMOKA
Hi! I’m from Japan and currently living in Australia on a working holiday. I used to work as a flight attendant and also at Starbucks, where I learned the joy of connecting with people from different cultures. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese linguistics and Japanese language education. During my studies, I participated in a Japanese language and culture training program in Australia, where I taught Japanese culture at local schools while learning English.
I also supported Chinese exchange students as a tutor for two years. I truly enjoy helping others and always try to offer heartfelt support. That’s why I’m passionate about creating lessons tailored to each learner’s needs. I’d love to help you enjoy learning Japanese in a relaxed and positive environment!
Since I’m also learning English while living in Australia, I truly understand how it feels to study a new language. So don’t worry if you feel nervous — I’ll be here to support you. Let’s grow and learn together!

I offer personalized Japanese lessons focusing on practical conversation, travel phrases, polite expressions, and anime phrases.
With experience as a former flight attendant, I value good communication and respectful manners.
Lessons are flexible and tailored to your goals – feel free to share what you’d like to learn, and I’ll adjust the lessons to fit your needs.
I don't use any textbooks but I can prepare something which help your learning Japanese.

I’m usually available between 8:00am and 6:00pm (AEST), but I’m flexible! For example, I’m often free at 8:00, 10:30, 2:00, and 5:30 – just let me know what works for you! If you prefer evening lessons, feel free to ask – I’ll do my best to adjust. I’m available most days of the week, including weekends!

Momoka is incredibly hardworking and always takes responsibility for everything she does. Back in school, she wasn’t naturally strong academically, but I watched her stay focused on her dreams, put in steady effort, and build her skills step by step until she achieved her goals.
She never gives up on things she can’t do right away — instead, she challenges herself, keeps learning, and always tries to grow. Because of that, she truly understands how it feels to struggle or not understand something, and she can support her students with patience, empathy, and encouragement.

Momoka is the kind of person who simply can’t walk past someone in need without helping. She gives up her seat for elderly people, and she always notices when I’m struggling even before I say anything. She listens, supports, and genuinely cares. Momoka is such a kind and wonderful teacher! Maybe it’s because she used to tutor Chinese international students back in university, but her teaching is incredibly clear and patient.
