About Alex
I am a qualified teacher who has a strong passion for history. My specialisms are 17th Century England, including the Civil Wars, and the Civil Rights movement in America, including Native Americans, Women, Trade Unions and Black Americans. However, I can provide essay support and feedback on any History topic. I love to work with students to increase their confidence and abilities, and am always open to feedback on my approach and how you learn best.

I specialise in differentiation, which means I will tailor my support to your individual learning style and needs. Whether it's helping to structure your essay answers, brushing up on your subject knowledge or supporting with analysing interpretations, I will work with you to ensure the approach we take suits you. My background is in teaching History A-Level to a variety of abilities. I have experience with a wide range of students. I am experienced in creating resources to support revision, working with students to solve problems, and providing essay feedback to help you get to the next level.
