About Rayyan
I’m a teacher that’s exactly like one of you. If I’m not working, I’m going out, I’m playing games and I’m going to the gym. The key difference between me and most students is that I understand that work is an obligation upon us, and unfortunately we have to do it if we want to enjoy everything else in life. I get it - it’s not easy to go to school for hours and then come home and do more lessons. Let me make the time worth it, I can guarantee that you’ll learn so much that you won’t even feel that little bit of time go.

I wasn’t the best student, I was loud, annoying and mischievous but I got my grades. 4 9s, 4 8s and a 7 in my GCSEs because I wanted to do well and have fun, something I want all my students to be able to do. The ability to put your head down doesn’t come very easily to most (including myself) so I understand the children who just want to play - I understand when a child just doesn’t get something, when they need more time or even when they need to go faster. Right after college, I was employed as a full-time maths teacher at a top 50 UK school because I understand children and because I understand the content. I wanted to make a difference, and I did. Children learn in unique and specific ways, and if, as a teacher, you cannot find that then a child will never learn. As long as we find ways to motivate them and we teach them in a way they can understand, anyone can achieve the grades - let me be that guiding hand.
