About Leon
Leon is a former MOE Chinese Language Teacher turned private tutor. He was formerly a Curriculum Director for an independent tuition centre. Leon believes that all students have the ability to learn with suitable instruction and a teacher who understands their difficulties in learning, and hence strives to achieve that for his students.

My approach to teaching is providing students an overarching knowledge of the syllabus, identify their gaps and then equip them with the necessary skills, mindsets and habits to achieve them. I am a strong advocate of using L1 to support L2 so that students comprehend the concept and then be able to apply. I also adopt digital note taking so that all the content that is covered will be properly documented.
